Gazir is one of the world's most respected freestyle artists with a brand nobody could pin down. Here's how we fixed that.

CONTEXT

Gazir and his management team partnered with us to elevate his brand so it matched his level as a competitor and positioned him for stronger partnerships, and for a lasting role as a cultural figure beyond the arena

CHALLENGE

While his reputation within freestyle culture was already strong, his public presence lacked consistency and a clear narrative that differentiated him from other competitors.

CHALLENGE

Positioning him in the landscape

Gazir had the talent and the reputation — but his brand told a different story depending on where you found him. Fragmented visuals, inconsistent tone, a merch line with no clear connection to his personal brand. Strong name, scattered signal.

The first step was understanding the full picture: a deep audit of every touchpoint, paired with a competitive analysis of the top freestylers in the scene. That's where the real opportunity showed up.

STRATEGY

Turning Gazir's story into a narrative system

Before getting into visuals we needed to know exactly who Gazir was as a brand, not just as an artist. Through interviews with him and his team, we built a full narrative system: his core story, values, positioning within the freestyle scene, and a brand archetype to guide everything that came after.

The output was a framework he could actually use — a clear, repeatable way of telling his story for interviews, podcasts and media. Consistent by design, not by chance.

The community and brand we built played a major role in my FMS World Series victory. The process we went throuhg was incredible.

Gabriel vs Gazir

Gabriel vs Gazir

The breakthrough came when we realized the way Gazir was perceived wasn't quite who he actually was. Off stage, Gabriel is calm, thoughtful, and grounded. He studies physics, comes from a small town, and keeps the same friends he's always had. On stage, Gazir takes over.

Gabriel and Gazir aren't two identities but two sides of the same coin, and framing the brand around that transformation, the electric, instinctive force that emerges when Gabriel steps into the arena, became the foundation for everything that followed.

His duality became the strategy. Most artists flatten that contrast between the actual person and the alter-ego seeking authenticity. We did the opposite. We made the tension between the person and the icon the most interesting thing about the brand.

VISUAL IDENTITY

An electric identity

Once the strategic foundation was set, we translated it into a visual identity system built around his energy on stage. Graphic elements, typography, and visual tone were defined to feel coherent across social media, merchandise, and professional materials while carrying the same charged, instinctive feel that defines Gazir in battle.

Finally, we hired a known lifestyle and fashion photographer to create a couple editorial pieces to give Gazir material to communicate this visual direction.
